The Consultation
We begin our time together with a consultation to give us a chance to go over your session. This will be an experience that will create a work of art you and your family will treasure for years to come. We will discuss your expectations, clothing recommendations, and a portrait location(s) that will help capture this moment in your life.
The Creation
During your session, we will bring together the elements of lighting, composition, and natural expression to create an image that will be treasured for a lifetime. Your session will last up to 1 1/2 hours, giving us the time and attention to your expectations and memory.
The Session
Your portrait session is an investment to your memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
Your session will embrace those moments you will never want to lose… the love and emotion shared by your family. Koontz Studio will give you personal attention during your session and you will see the results with beautiful composition and natural expression in your images.
A session fee is required to guarantee your appointment date and time. This fee is non-refundable, though you may reschedule your appointment subject to date availability.
The Service
With your session, you also receive complementary consultation, preview session, and image enhancement services including creative effects, color tinting, and retouching.
Your images are available in color, black and white, and sepia tones at no difference in cost.
Preview and Decision Process
This is an important investment to your memories and we want to assist you in the selection process. We will provide you with a preview session in a comfortable atmosphere, allowing you to appreciate this time and give you confidence in your decisions.
We have found that children do not have the patience to sit through the preview session; so if possible, we request that only adult decision makers be present to help maintain a comfortable atmosphere.
Your Portrait Image
After you make your selections, your image will go through a final retouch and then to the lab where it will be printed on quality photographic paper that you will enjoy for years to come.

Canvas & Wraps
Standard Canvas
Image is stretched over half inch artist stock. The staples holding the print run along the side of the frame and hidden with a picture frame.
Image Canvas Wrap
One inch stock is used and the actual image is wrapped around the oversized stretcher. The staples are out of sight on the back.
Gallery Canvas Wrap
With Gallery Wrap, the full image shows on the front, and bare canvas shows on the side. The staples run along the back of the oversize (one inch) artist stock, hidden from sight. This makes for a very clean frameless presentation.
Frames, Albums, Masonite, Folios….
There are many choices today… ways in which we express ourselves… and each person has a desire to show off their memories.
Prints, canvas wraps, frames, and albums are just a few ways to preserve these memories.
Action Jackson Koontz has a variety of products to choose from. Special orders will require a quote, while others will depend on preferences and sizing.
